Author Mini Blog
You can always find me being one with nature. I am either sitting by the water, going on hikes or just sitting in my garden enjoying the true sounds of nature. Nature is what inspires me, it's where my creative juices come to life. So, of course it all came natural to me when creating The Adventures Of The Junior Detectives series.
When I am dealing with writers block and I need to connect with my creativity and thoughts I go to my neighborhood park. I go and sit at my favorite bench which is located in front of the smaller part of the pound, underneath a big maple tree. I watch the ducks swim, splash and play in the water, while the turtles are just sunbathing on the rocks watching the fish jump out of the water. I let myself feel the wind blowing through the leaves and tree branches, while birds are flying around singing their beautiful songs. As I sit there and take it all in, my thoughts become clear my writers block is starting to subside. Thankfully before leaving the house I grabbed my laptop for I knew I would continue writing my story. As I have found my inner peace In my HAPPY PLACE!
